Aims and objectives: Analysis and synthesis of logic circuits. |
Course content: Boolean logic, fundamental logic function, scheme marks. Conversion of numbers, Boolean algebra, principle of duality. Expression of logic function, forms. Minimalisation logic function. Logic circuits NAND, NOR, AND-NOR, application rules. Synthesis of combinational logic circuits. Sum mod 2, decoder, multiplexor, demultiplexor. Hazards of logical circuits. Sequential logic circuits, description of behaviour. Synthesis of flip-flop circuit synchro RS, T, JK, D. Synthesis of counters and registers. Diagnostic logic circuits, failure, sensitive path, diagnostic tests. Innovation of subject. |
